Extended Product Description

While most soaps (the sudsy kind) strip the skin of important oils leaving the skin dry and open to irritation, there are certain areas and times that need to be cleaned with a good safe soapy, soap, for which we offer Clean.

All other areas (torso, arms, legs and face) should be hydrated and cleansed with a hard-working, bacteria-fighting cleanser, like Nourish. Hard-working meaning it serves multiple purposes - cleanser and moisturizer in one! Bacteria-fighting meaning we had Nourish tested in a lab and it consumed the yeast and the bacteria that was introduced to it. Thus, the bacteria-fighting properties help kill problematic bacteria which can lead to irritation and breakouts.

How does it solve dryness?

  1. Balances oil levels on skin. - If you tend to be dry, you won't be. If you tend to be oily, you won't be.
  2. Helps to balance pH levels on skin. - What does this mean? Your skin is protected from the pollutants, irritation, and other environmental things.
  3. Nourishes the skin using only non-GMO plant oils. - Why is this important? Because it causes your skin to detox (get rid of the junk) so it can heal and repair itself. Isn't that cool?

How To Use

Uses for Nourish

  1. Body moisturizer - while you can apply Nourish at any time, your skin absorbs nutrients most effectively after a warm shower or bath. Because of this, we recommend applying on the body and face during a bath or shower, while still wet but before toweling off.
  2. Hydrating face cleanser - gently massage Nourish onto wet warm skin. Allow Nourish to do it's work, rinse (although you will still feel it on the skin which is good), towel off and apply Restore or Revive.
  3. Apply Nourish on prego belly to help keep skin elastic to prevent stretch marks.
  4. Scalp treatment (even on dandruff) - apply liberally on the scalp, massage in, and let it penetrate for 15 minutes then follow with your normal shampoo. For an added moisture boost, warm up scalp in the shower, apply then add a shower cap for 15 minutes. You may need to shampoo a few times to fully remove Nourish from hair.
  5. Soothing hydration for bath - add to the flow of water when filling bath, soak then enjoy super soft skin.
  6. Moisturizer for african hair to hydrate and prevent breakage.
  7. Softens cuticles - gently message into cuticles to soften.
  8. Eye make up remover - Nourish will also remove most eye make ups!
  9. Soothes burns - apply on any burn (sun, wind, heat) to soothe and relieve pain.
  10. Massage oil - tested by professionals.

Learn about each (and every) ingredient we use in Nourish below.

coconut oil

Did you know that this amazing oil has antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-fungal & antibacterial properties? These properties form a barrier on the skin to ward off infection which reduces symptoms associated with skin irritations. By supporting the natural chemical balance of skin it causes the skin to soften, helps relieve dryness & flaking, prevents wrinkles & age spots. Coconut oil provides protection from damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation from the sun. When used on the scalp, it helps to heal dry flaky scalp. We always use organic coconut oil in our products.

sunflower oil

First, our SSO is organic (but we can't put that on the label), expeller pressed and kept at a cool temperature to maintain tons of nutrients like proteins, which are vital for building and repairing tissues. It is very emollient which is the best news for parched skin. Being rich in nutrients and antioxidants, it is wonderfully effective against acne, eczema, inflammation, and general skin irritations. Sunflower seed oil contains high levels of Vitamin E, which is essential for protecting skin cells from damage done by ultraviolet light from the sun. Vitamin E improves the appearance and health of your skin by repairing scars and smoothing of existing wrinkles. Because of it’s high antioxidant count and the presence of vitamins A, C and D, sunflower seed oil helps to prevent premature aging.

avocado oil

While avocado oil is considered a veggie oil, it is actually a fruit which yields a rich deep penetrating oil, full of vitamins A,D, and E, lecithin and potassium. It is high in sterolins, which are said to reduce age spots, help heal sun damage and scars. This natural oil penetrates the deep layers of skin allowing it to transport nutrients to the dermis for increased effectiveness. Because avocado oil has amazing emollient properties, it is ideal for mature skin while also relieving dryness and itching associated with psoriasis, eczema or other skin irritations. In 2001, a study published in Dermatologyprovided evidence that avocado oil could be a long-term topical therapy for psoriasis. Plus, France has given avocado oil Rx status because of it's ability to counter the negative affects of arthritis. Now, this was when taken internally but remember, your skin absorbs what is put on it. Woohoo!

grapefruit seed oil

Not to be confused with GSE or Grapefruit Seed Extract, this is a rare oil pressed from the seeds of the grapefruit and boy, is it packed with nutrition. Grapefruit seed oil has powerful antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties. It has been shown to help regenerate skin cells and aids in removing dead skin cells from pores yet in the most gentle and natural way. As it hydrates, it helps to reduce wrinkles, dryness and improves skin elasticity. With high levels of Vitamin C, GSO is a strong antiseptic and has been tested to help combat large pores, dark spots and other skin blemishes.

meadowfoam oil

Cold-pressed virgin meadowfoam oil is wonderfully emollient and high in vitamin E. It helps to retain moisture on the skin while adding a protective barrier to the outer layer of skin. It's anti-oxidant properties help to repair sun damage, firm the skin and reduce inflammation. This is great news for those with inflammation in the form of acne, eczema or other skin irritations. Meadowfoam is a renewable crop and is native to northern California, southern Oregon, Vancouver Island, and British Columbia. Plus, it requires minimal (if any) pesticides to grow which makes it great for the environment. In addition to all these benefits, meadowfoam seed oil is a highly stable oil which helps to make other ingredients stable. Since we never add fillers, we get excited about using natural ingredients that benefit the skin while helping the product stay fresh naturally! Yippee!

moringa seed oil

We are so excited to offer moringa seed oil for it’s antibacterial, antioxidant, nourishing and anti-aging properties. The nutrients in moringa seed oil helps slow the skin aging process, lightens skin tone while nourishing and protecting the skin from free radical damage. This quick absorbing seed oil has 90 nutrients, 18 essential amino acids, chlorophylls, omega-3 fatty acids and anti-inflammatory properties.

lavender essential oil

Essential oils like lavender nourish and soothe the skin. Lavender Oil produces a calming effect, aids in regenerating the skin, & can minimize scar tissue. Lavender reduces inflammation, has antibacterial properties & enhances blood circulation. It also adds a beautiful scent that is such a treat when applied, while being very subtle. Even those who are sensitive to smells will enjoy Lavender!

There you go. That's the list. The entire list and nothing but the list.
