DO YOU STRONGLY DISLIKE APPLYING BUG SPRAY?
I USED TO, TOO. THAT AND SUNSCREEN (BUT THAT'S ANOTHER STORY).
Picture this. You are enjoying a night at the beach, camping or watching fireworks. On this great summer night, bugs are a-flyin' and a botherin'. Slathering your little ones with greasy toxic bug repellent isn't fun but necessary. You can hardly snuggle with them because of the smell!
You arrive home waaaaayyyy past their bedtime (because that's what summers are for). Upon arrival you know you need to bathe their sleepy selves because the bug repellent stinks so bad and you want to wash off those toxins ASAP.
Well, I am happy to tell you there is another way!
Our GoGo Bug Repellent sprays clean, smells great and there won't be any toxins to wash off them (or you). We only use aloe vera juice and essential oils (but not the stinky smell-like-bug-spray kind). So, spray those bugs away, keep kissing them and put them right to bed.
Do you worry about putting bug spray on your irritated skin?
No need to worry. There aren't any ingredients in GoGo Bug that will clog pores. And you can use it if you struggle with acne or eczema.
One word of caution: we do use some essential oils like peppermint and tea tree (actually good at reducing inflammation) that may cause slight irritation to open wounds.
WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?
When our first son was born, he had reactions to bug bites. His cute face would be covered in bumps that would stay for a week or more. Us moms are protective so, I would shoo away any bug that got in his way. Since he would giggle when I would do this, it became a game. I would say "go go bug" while swatting bugs and he would belly laugh. It was so sweet.
When he began to form words, what do you think he called bugs? "Go Go." Thus, when I formulated a safe and healthy bug repellent, the name was perfect.
PLEASE NOTE: Although not necessary, it would be best to store GoGo Bug in the fridge between uses (unless you are using daily) to keep it at it's freshest. On hot summer days and evenings, the cool spray will feel refreshing or take out of the fridge in the morning to bring it to room temperature.
